Our Story

A Frame is a Time Machine

Johnson, co-founder of Frame It, began his career as an automotive exterior designer in Japan, crafting sleek, functional designs that balanced beauty with purpose. He spent years refining products that look good, feel good, and simply work. But it wasn’t until he came back to Malaysia and started framing his own photos that he realised something deeper.

When a photo is framed, it transforms. 

Suddenly, it’s not just an image—it’s a feeling.

It’s a frozen version of joy, pride, or love that you can come back to.

That discovery sparked the beginning of Frame It.

To Johnson, a frame is kind of like a time machine. While a car takes you from point A to B, a frame takes you from now to then—back to the laugh you almost forgot, the hug that meant everything, or the moment you wish you could relive.
