Our Story

A Frame is a Time Machine

Johnson Lam, co-founder of Frame It, began his career in Japan as an automotive exterior designer, creating products that balanced beauty, functionality and emotion.

Years later, after returning to Malaysia and framing his own photos, he realised something unexpected.

When a photo is framed, it transfomrs. It’s not just an image, it’s a feeling. It's a frozen version of joy, pride, or love that you can come back to

That discovery sparked the beginning of Frame It.

To Johnson, a frame is like a time machine. While a car takes you from one place to another, a frame takes you from now to then, back to the laugh you almost forgot, the hug that meant everything, or the moment you wish you could relive.
